A New Reason to Smile...
Finally
. . . Single Visit Crowns/Onlays
We are very proud to be able to offer
you the world’s most advanced dental restoration system, the
Cerec3D™. Using CAD/CAM technology we can manufacture lifelike, all
porcelain crowns, onlays, inlays and reinforced fillings right here
in our office, in only one visit!
For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling,
and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care. CAD/CAM
technology (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) was
first used to assist engineers and designers in the automotive,
aircraft and aerospace industries in the 1960s. It is now used in a
wide variety of industries to design and manufacture physical
products ranging from buildings, bridges, roads, digital cameras,
mobile phones, TVs, clothes, computers, and for almost 20 years . .
. dentistry.
So, why are thousands of people worldwide choosing the Cerec
restorative technique for their dental needs?
Normally, tooth reconstruction requires more than one visit to the
dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of
anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a
temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second
appointment for a couple of weeks later, and get an injection, have
the temporary pried off (if it hasn’t fallen off already) and have a
permanent restoration put on. Why go to the dentist a second time
when you don’t have to? With Cerec, the procedure is done in a
single appointment, start to finish.
How does it work?
With a special electronic camera we
take an optical 3D image of your tooth. The image appears on a
computer screen and the restoration is then precision-milled from a
color matched porcelain block in 12 to 20 minutes. Because the
material closely resembles human enamel, once it’s bonded into place
it restores your teeth to their natural strength, beauty and
function.
No goop . . no temporaries . . no metal . . . no waiting. Due to its
revolutionary technology, Cerec 3D is completely reliable. Worldwide
over six million Cerec restorations have been placed since it’s
introduction in 1985. Ask us about single visit restorative
care.
